Below are some questions we have received by e-mail for our Enterprise Server /Administration packages.

1. I think that we don't need MS SQL

If your server is to have database capabilities, we only use SQL Server.

2. Is this possible to have 512 MB RAM and what will be the price?

We could add the extra RAM, but charge you in the setup fee for this, which would be an extra $50. It would also add an extra 5 / month for the server rental fee.

3. Is this possible to have 20 GB HDD ATA 100 and what will be the price?

Right now we only offer with 10GB drives. We will be offering servers with more drive capacity in the near future, but right now, we have found that 10GB has been sufficient for most businesses. It does depend on the business though.

4. If I have Windows XP what kind of software I need to manage the server?

Windows XP Professional would manage the server fine. You would use Terminal Services, which we have available free to download at anytime, or you can get from Microsoft's site.

5. Are you doing the registration of .net, .com and .org domains and what is the procedure?

We register all domains though Namesecure, and then point them to our DNS Servers. If your clientele require domain registration, this would be your responsibility - that is to register their domains with either Namesecure or Network Solutions. We would give you our DNS Server information so that this information could be entered anytime. You would charge your clients 35 / year for a domain. Usually they go for two years at a time which means 70$. If you had us register the domains for you, would be the cost of the domain, and an extra 25$ per/domain.

6. What kind of software are clients need for opening, changing and closing their e-mail address?

They (your customers) would tell you what they wanted their e-mail addresses to be. We would show you how to set them up with the e-mail server, and assign passwords to the e-mail accounts. The customer can then check e-mail anytime using our Web based e-mail client. An e-mail server is an extra 20/month on your server, and an extra 25 setup fee.

7. Does the server support MySQL?

No, it does not. No open source programs are used.

8. Does the server support PHP4?

No, it does support Microsoft's powerhouse scripting language known as ASP and ASP.NET though.

9. What is the price of BACKUP?

Backup comes at no extra cost, that is included in the monthly fee.

10. If we need to do BACKUP by ourselves, what will be the price for the secondary HDD?

We have a system where be back up to a storage area off the network. If there is a virus that should infect a system's data, the backup will be unaffected.
